Construction of Boronów-Trzebinia fuel pipeline

As a logistics company, PERN is aims to develop its fuel transmission infrastructure.

In result to closed negotiations with PKN ORLEN in the matter of extending the fuel pipeline of southern Płock-Koluszki-Boronów main pipeline to the Refinery in Trzebinia, a long-term agreement was executed for the construction of fuel pipeline along the Boronów-Trzebinia section including associated infrastructure.

The construction of Boronów-Trzebinia product line will allow a more cost effective and safer distribution of fuels in southern Poland.

The Project assumes the construction of a 94 km long Boronów-Trzebinia fuel pipeline across the territories of Śląskie and Małopolskie Voivodships (eleven communes in total) with additional fuel pumping stations along the Płock-Koluszki-Boronów pipeline route, assuring the achievement of assumed throughputs and maximisation of fuel handling along the Płock-Trzebinia route.  At present, works are under way aimed at preparing local zoning plans for eleven communes situated along the Boronów – Trzebinia pipeline route.

The completion of this investment project has been scheduled for 2021.

Expected benefits:

  • maintaining PERN infrastructure as the main distribution channel for PKN ORLEN products
  • optimising the utilisation of existing pipeline infrastructure
  • optimising the price policy of GK PERN
